Each ordination candidate can get ordained online only when they complete a rigorous ordination confirmation process. The process includes four important steps:
1. Calling and Walk Step
…To get ordained online at the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA). The first step is to finish the Christian Leaders Formation Class, which is also the getting started class. This class explores calling into ministry and walking with God. This first step is important because this class explores the basic qualifications outlined in the Bible for Christian Leaders. This class also specifically helps Christian Leaders see if they have the fire and passion for ministry.
This is the step where the ordination candidate agrees to the doctrinal statement of the Christian Leaders Alliance.
Calling to ministry has always been important. Paul encouraged Timothy to fight the good fight, He said,
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12
2. Ministry Training Step
To get ordained online at Christian leaders Alliance you must also complete the second step. The second step is ministry training. Each type of ordination requires different amounts of training. We read in the Bible that ordained leaders “must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. (Titus 2:1 ) Christian Leaders Institute brings high-quality ministry training online. The training is free, whether you want to get ordained with the training or not take that official step.
3. Enroll in an Ordination Class at Christian Leaders Institute.
To get Ordained online at the CLA, you will enroll in an ordination class that fits your situation. Christian Leaders Institute offers ordination classes in Officiant Ordination, Women Ministry Ordination and Christian Leaders Ordination. Each ordination level has different requirements. All ordinations are dual ordinations if necessary. You can be ordained online as a local leader in your church and denomination, and you can also be ordained in the Christian Leaders Alliance.
3. Ministry Confirmation Step.
To get ordained online at the Christian Leaders Alliance, you must also have that calling confirmed. A Christian Leaders may think to themselves that they are called into ministry, but others do not see that. For centuries ordination into ministry has been confirmed by other Christian Leaders who have noticed your walk and fruit for ministry. The Christian Leaders Alliance also requires the spouse of the ordination candidate also confirm the calling and readiness for ministry.
This step is important our of respect for 1 Timothy 5:22, “ Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. We ask for three recommendations for ordination in the ordination classes. This goes far to making sure that this candidate is suitable for ministry.
4. Official Award Step
To get ordained online at the CLA, you must also have your official paperwork. We have an ordination package for $99 that includes several important documents.

This step is important because early church leaders were commended like in Roman 16:1, “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae.”
5. Ordination Prayer
To get ordained online at the CLA, you must also be prayed over by local leaders or another CLA leader. We recommend that you become ordained at your local church. We have intentionally made this ministry deacon ordination so that we are sensitive to the concerns about women in office. If a local church desires to upgrade this ordination to elder ordination, that is the business of the local church.
This public prayer takes leaders who utilizes the web tools to for ordination and mobilizes them for ministry. We see this pattern in the Bible. Paul prayed that Timothy was ordained to ministry service. We read in 2 Timothy 1:6 “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.”
6. Inclusion in the Christian Leader Alliance Directory

The inclusion means that the ordained candidate has completed the above steps. This alliance is a ministry leader alliance that raises up and support revival leaders. Ordained leaders in this alliance have been trained at CLI, walked through the steps of local ordination. Ordination in Christian Leaders Alliance means that we have put a potential Ordained leader through the historical steps of calling, confirmation, training, prayer, and official authorization. Christian Leaders Alliance does not bring discipline on Leaders should they fall into sin. We acknowledge up front that there is no perfect ordination system, but this one reflects our reading of the early church approach to raising up leaders.
Important Note: Should someone become delinquent in doctrine or life, it is the responsibility of local leaders to discipline that individual. Galatians 6:1-2 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
